Downloading and installing Mac's Airports
REQUIREMENTS:
Microsoft Flight Simulator X
Orbx Australia FTX SP4
NAV 1 frequencies and Headings for Macs Airports (.xls format)
I have used Airport Design Editor 9 to upgrade a number of FSX airports. Many small airports in FSX do not conform with the actual airports. So were ever possible, I have made certain that the upgrade has conformed with the "real world" airport.
I have paid particular attention to runway direction, length, width and surface. I have however improved lighting and runway markings at a number of airports. I have made no attempt to improve airport scenery except at Benalla (YBLA) and Murrayfield (YMUL) but will consider doing this if asked. I would also strongly recommend downloading and installing Ants Aussie Airports.
NB: Installing Mac's Airports, as per the following instructions will NOT in anyway conflict with Orbx or other scenery libraries.
Download Macs Airports by clicking HERE.
Using Windows Explorer locate your Addon Scenery folder. Program Files\ Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\Addon Scenery.
This is a small zip file and will download quickly. Extract all the files from the zip file to the FSX Addon Scenery folder.

Start Flight Simulator and select SETTINGS and the Scenery Library. Next click on Add Area and select Addon Scenery\Macs Airports. Select Macs Airports and click OK.
VERY IMPORTANT ... If you are using Windows 7 nothing will happen when you press OK so you must then click on a vacant area inside the Select Scenery Directory window. The window will then close and Macs Airports will be installed.
